Hi everyone,

A lot of stuff has happened since the last time I updated, and I really don’t want to embark on all of it, so here’s a brief description of things:

- Moved to chicago
- Lived with boss for a few weeks while I searched for an apartment
- Had a lot of encounters with the homeless
- got mugged for $10 by a couple of crackheads
- learned how to deal with the homeless, and now ignore them any time they walk up to me
- I Still have a scar above my eyebrow from when I fell into this rock while i was drunk while I was living back in michigan
- Work has been great. I’m enjoying my job doing tech support from 9pm to 9am, 4 days on, 4 days off here at the datacenter
- I got an apartment in the bridgeport area of chicago. It’s $600/month, furnished with utilities, living with this french CS student named Dan. We’re also getting a third roommate on the 1st of July, a girl named Allison. I think she’s a student too.
- I don’t have a computer at my apartment. We do have free wireless internet, but I can’t use it without a computer and a wireless card.
- Living is pretty expensive. So far, I’ve had enough money to live, but things are very expensive. I have found a couple of bars in my neighborhood that are very cheap though, but the uptown bars and restaurants are pretty expensive.
- Having no access to porn in my private time is driving me insane. Combine that with the fact that I’m not getting laid at all, I’m slipping back into depression.
- I’ve made a few friends in the area. The other night I hung out with my neighbors. They’re mostly my age, and have kids. They introduced me to a couple of their friends. Maybe networking with them and their friends will get me laid.
- I’ve ate too much pizza
- Last night I made my first meal, rigatoni with tomato and basil sauce. It was good.

and that’s about it. I think i’ll start updating my blog more often, since I now have a life to write about.
